Defibrillators
Defibrillators – Cardiac Arrest
Located – at The Sports Pavilion and outside the village hall
Use – Contact one of the Trained Responders listed below
Fladbury Parish Council has purchased two automated external defibrillators (AEDs) for use by trained local responders whilst waiting for professional help in the event of an emergency. AEDs deliver a shock to reverse ventricular fibrillation (the most common form of cardiac arrest).
In the event of an emergency ring 999 (112 from mobiles) to contact the Ambulance Service
The Ambulance Service will then contact the local trained responders in turn. The first available responder will provide assistance until the Ambulance Service can attend the scene.
After ringing 999, parishioners can also contact a trained responder directly if they wish.
